Court Testimony Support

AMS stands firmly behind SCRAM and our monitoring results in court, and we also offer expert testimony on continuous transdermal alcohol monitoring technology. What this means for judges is that they will be able to verify and enforce sanctions based on the data received from the SCRAM device.

AMS has provided court testimony support in dozens of evidentiary hearings around the country, with many resulting in favorable Frye or Daubert rulings. To date, we have participated in:

  • 50 evidentiary hearings in 19 states
  • 19 hearings resulted in Daubert/Frye rulings
  • 18 of 19 courts determined that evidence was admissible
  • Lost only 1 in 2004
AMS has improved resources to reduce the risk of this happening again.
