This breakthrough in electronic monitoring technology has revolutionized the way courts, agencies, and alcohol treatment centers assess, detect and deter problem drinkers.
Alcohol Monitoring Systems is looking for Network Services Director to deliver our SCRAM continuous alcohol monitoring solution to service partners, courts, and agencies.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Plans strategic direction for platforms for computer hardware and communications solutions to coincide with the long term priorities, goals and needs of the organization
- Works with internal and external customers in identifying long term growth plans to identify hardware and software platform needs to meet these plans
- Manages, controls and coordinates the network services area to ensure the day to day business needs are being met in the most efficient and effective manner
- Coordinates activities for internal and external customers to ensure access without unnecessary outages or downtime and that day to day system performance is adequate for business success
- Defines hardware and supporting infrastructure upgrade plans to scale the business for growth and cost/performance efficiencies
- Interfaces with software and hardware vendors to procure and maintain appropriate products and services
- Quantifies and justifies the investments necessary to move the system infrastructure to a highly scaleable, secure and available solution with improved performance over the next 3-5 years
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- 5-10 years of proven experience as a Network Systems Director in a high growth environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Works well in a structured team environment
Other Requirements:
- Experience in internal IT support a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Systems Development experience a plus, but not required

JOB PURPOSE
Alcohol Monitoring Systems is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to perform electronics and embedded software design, testing, and documentation for electronics hardware products.
DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant product development and design experience
- Knowledge of common electrical engineering principles used in design, including microprocessors and micro controllers
- Experienced in embedded C programming, knowledgeable about de facto coding conventions
- Experiences in real-time system development
- Familiarity with source code management tools
- Strong aptitude with computers, software, and data analysis
- Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks in a timely manner, and learn new principles, ideas, and concepts
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work on multiple tasks
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
DUTIES
- Design, develop, analyze and test software programs using C-compilers for embedded microcontrollers and microprocessors
- Contribute to ongoing product support after design release through product validation testing and manufacturing to product end-of-life
- Perform other duties as required and directed by the Manager of Electrical Engineering
Salary: $65-70K / year
